Details

Our wood plugs are precision-cut and designed to sit flush once installed, giving your staircase components a smooth, finished look. Each plug features a slight taper for a secure fit, whether you're working on handrails, newels, treads, or general interior woodworking.

Plugs are available in packs of 10, 20, or 50, and offered in a full selection of materials to match your project: White Oak, Red Oak, Poplar, Beech, and Maple.
Each plug can be stained or painted to blend perfectly with your stair system, making them a simple but essential detail in any professional-quality installation.

Installation

Apply wood glue lightly to the sides of the plug (avoiding the bottom for easier future removal) then insert and tap gently until flush. Allow to dry before sanding and applying stain or paint for a seamless finish.
